Relevant Evangelism

"For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink;  I was a stranger and you took me in;…Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." - Matthew 25:35-40

The message of the Gospel is a practical one.  Mankind needs a savior, and that Savior is Jesus!  The objective of His Church is to spread that message to people who don’t know they have that need.  An effective way to spread that message is by meeting the practical needs of people.  The kindness of the people of God goes a long way toward making evangelistic efforts effective.
