Meaningful Fun

“Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28

In a world of works-based chaos, where can people go to “get away from it all” and have fun?  The answer should be “to church.”  Many aspects of a believer’s life should be enhanced by the church.  One very important aspect is in relationships with other believers, and there is no better way to build relationships than by having fun together.  There is a lot of need for laborers in a church, and many opportunities to work present themselves, but if we intend to play together, those "fun" opportunities must be made.  People burn out when they work too hard, but it’s amazing how far a little “recess” will go...
